I´m an international student. Apply on January. On May I got an email saying my application was processed, no more news since then

I applied as a fall transfer to Cornell and NYU (Engineering). I was told that the acceptance letters would be sent out by early to mid May. Well… its already well past mid May and I’m starting to freak out! I heard a rumor that if it takes long its bad news since acceptance letters are sent out first, but that sounds stupid to me. Anyway… has anyone applying as a fall transfer gotten any acceptance or denial letters from these schools yet? Thanks!
