i have over 1000 emails! HELP ME QUICKLY PLEASE?

i made the big mistake by setting my e-mail under so many website news letters like vh1 and e! and seventeen! now i get hundereds of emails daily, abnd i cant see my important ones, how do i make them stop sending them, can i cancel? please help!
no one has to answer anymore, Stuart already answerd my question PERFECTLY!

At the bottom of each of the e-mails from the advertisers, there’s a link that says ‘unsubscribe’. It will take a while to go through them, but you can stop most of them.

well you should be able to block certin adresses in your options thing. i used to have th same problem but with me i used to gt like over 50 emails from build a bear ( for some weird i reason i do not know) a day. in top of hat i used to get at least 50 other spam aday. what helped me is that you check your email very often (at least 2 times a day) and elet all of your spam and they will stop sendin it was much. i havent gottn one emial from builda bear in months and now i only get 4 or 5 spam a day

Unsubscribe to as many of them as possible as soon as possible. Delete all of them at once. As they continue to come in unsubscribe as necessary and put the current ones into your junk email box. It will take some time, but the numbers will get smaller over time. In the future be more selective to the news letter you subscribe to.

Unfortunately you can’t . When you get an e-mail it’s best to not give to every website or apply for every news letter thats out there, it will get passed around for all junk mail sites to see. I recommend you get a new e-mail address and be more careful on who you disclose it to. Blocking e-mails only work so much it doesn’t get rid of all spam. Just be more discreet on where you decide to leave your information.

Mark them as spam, and you will stop receiving them. It worked for me when I had the same problem.

Or keep that acct for just spam stuff and open a new acct that ONLY family and friends can use (and any other important stuff) Thats what I do. That way you have one you can use for newsletters and such and not mix it with the important emails.
But do be careful in the future….. once spam starts, its hard to end it.

Well, you could create a new email account and that way you wouldn’t get as much emails.

make a new account just save all your email addresses and settings and stuff like that and make a new account with the same email and password and then your new one (but with the same email address wont get 1000 anymore
TIP: when you make your new email address dont make it exactly the SAME use and underscore or a hyphen !!!!
This is really important or you will still get all the emails again …….SO make a new email account thats the best way
