How do I rent or seall an email list?

Written by admin on December 31st, 2009

I have a list of 5500+ email addresses. The list is highly targeted and contains very specific demographic information. The list is comprised of dog owners who love their dogs. It contains demographic information related to gender, marital status, lifestyle preferences, etc. How do I sell or rent this thing? I have googled

sell email list
lease email list
email marketing list brokers

I can’t seem to get anywhere. Help please?

You want to find a list broker. They take care of all the work and then send you a check for your profits. They spend their time and energy trying to get their clients to rent your list.

Find a local direct mail service (mailing house) in your area and ask them what list brokers they work with. Most likely they’ll deal in mailing lists, but they’ll know who handles e-mail lists.

Another option is to contact a dog magazine. Ask who their list broker is. Talk to them about whether they rent e-mail lists.

Sounds like you’ve got a great e-mail list. Congrats.

If you are the one who compiled the list…then you can sell it…if you obtained the list or its parts from another party…you cannot sell the list.
