Why is my email taking forever to process before being sent? Why does it not send new composed emails?

I have trouble sending or replying to emails. The email will be complete, I’ll press send, then I get nothing. If I click too many times it says wait, mail being processed. But it shouldn’t take 10 mins. Most of the time I lose the email, because Yahoo freezes up. Help. Please.

This is a Yahoo problem since they have been doing upgrades and adding new features to the sites. Many can’t access their mail at all.
