Does anyone know what happens to messages that you mark as spam?

Written by admin on November 24th, 2009

I accidentally marked a newsletter I get on a weekly basis as spam. By doing that, will all future newsletters go to my inbox or will they be blocked by a spam filter? If so , how can I reverse that action.

They just go to your trash folder.

It depends on your settings. You can delete them immediately or have them deleted and put into your trash on a weekly basis.

The best thing for you to do is to unblock the address. You can do this by going into your email and click on OPTIONS in the upper right hand corner. When the new page appears scroll down under the SPAM column to BLOCK ADDRESSES and click on it. Find the address you want to unblock and click on it. Then click on the REMOVE BLOCK button below the list. Any new emails should then come to your inbox.
