I need to mail out a newsletter. Do I need extra postage?

Its 3 pages front and back. Our plan was to just fold it in half (8 1/2 x 5 1/2) and put the To/From labels and the 39 cent stamp on one side. Would that be sufficient?

Get all your fliers ready to go and then deliver it to the post office. That way if you qualify for a bulk rate you will get it, or take a single copy to the post office and inquire of the required postage on that piece. Your going to waste your money if you dont stop trying to take shortcuts. Getting the facts is always the best way to go..

You can apply for a bulk mailing permit. Then use a machine to apply the postage. you will save a lot of money.

You can ask the post office aobut the machines and how they work. Better than stamps.

If you have lwss than fifty then you might not qualify. Projected mailings may help.

In the US, you can go to and use the post office automatic printing, mailing, and addressing service. It’s way cheaper than doing it yourself and they’ll quote you a rate before you are charged.
